Bio / Case Adams

"One summer decades ago, while working my way through college as a pre-med major, I hurt my back digging ditches. I visited a doctor who prescribed me with an opioid medication. I didn’t take the drug, but the experience brought about a change of heart regarding my career in medicine. I decided against prescribing drugs and sought an alternative path.

Through my college years and after, I worked in the food business, at farms, kitchens, and eventually management in the organic food and herbal supplement businesses. I also continued my health studies and eventually completed a post-graduate degree in Naturopathy and doctorates in Integrative Health Sciences and Natural Health Sciences. I received diplomas in Herbalism, Aromatherapy, Bach Flower Remedies, Colon Hydrotherapy, Homeopathy, Blood Chemistry and Urine Analysis, Obstetrics, Clinical Nutritional Counseling, and completed certificates in Pain Management and Contact Tracing/Case Management. I am board certified as an Alternative Medical Practitioner and am a Certified Health Coach.

During my clinical internships, I was fortunate to have been trained and mentored under leading holistic M.D.s, D.O.s, N.D.s, acupuncturists, physical therapists, herbalists and massage therapists, working with them and their patients.* I also did grand rounds at a hospital and assisted in pain treatment consultations. After graduation I practiced at a local medical rehabilitation clinic advising patients on natural therapies.

My journey into writing about alternative medicine began about 9:30 one evening after finishing with patients at this clinic. I had spent the day explaining natural health strategies. As I drove home that night, I realized the need to expand the reach of this knowledge to more people.

In 2005, I began writing about natural health with a mission to reach those who desperately need this information and are not getting it in mainstream media. Since then, I have authored 32 published books/audiobooks, 80 print-published scientific articles, over 1,000 internet-published scientific articles, four webinar courses and dozens of videos. The aim of my books, articles, courses and videos is to document the scientific evidence together with the historical use of herbal medicines around the world for thousands of years.

I know my materials can sometimes be a bit scientific, but I hope this provides clear evidence that nature's healing strategies have been proven out in the research. (Note these are educational materials, not medical advice.)

I hope you will help support my mission and consider reading, listening or watching some of my writings, audiobooks, videos or webinar courses, and sharing them with others. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about these learning materials."
